Strawberry Hill - David Austin English RosesAdd to Wishlist
Strawberry Hill produces pure rose pink, cupped rosettes of superb quality. The color gradually pales to a lighter pink at the edges of the petals, eventually revealing glimpses of yellow stamens at the center. The blooms are beautiful at all stages. The growth is tall, vigorous and informal. with small clusters of blooms held on lightly arching branches. Strawberry Hill is extremely healthy healthy with glossy, dark green foliage. This variety is a great choice for center to rear position of mixed beds or rose borders. The fragrance is a fine, strong and delicious myrrh, with softer notes of honey and lemon. Strawberry Hill was awarded the Prix d'Honneur for fragrance from Nantes in 2007.
